The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.</span></p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Role Purpose</H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Serve as an electrical controls resource for process improvement, cost reduction and capital expansion projects. Manage electrical and controls scope of assigned projects. Lead/participate in project teams and support daily manufacturing operations by providing technical support to plant’s various control systems.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide electrical, controls engineering and equipment expertise in fiber optic cable manufacturing in support of production, maintenance, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Internal subject matter expert in control systems (PLC, HMI, Drives etc.,), system integration, sensors and electro-mechanical devices.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide technical support when maintenance requirements exceed electrical associate capabilities.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"> <div>Understand critical processes, identify risks, test feasibility, and document system design specs.</div> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"> <div>Develop control architectures, functional specs, and system integration requirements.</div> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"> <div>Participate/lead all project phases: design, build, testing, installation, start‑up, training, and tech transfer.</div> </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Recommend and implement long term solutions to recurring equipment performance issues.
