This role involves operating both basic and advanced printing machinery, ensuring high-quality output, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting efficient production processes. The operator plays a key role in meeting production goals while adhering to safety and quality requirements across multiple print platforms.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position offers a clean, climate-controlled, and safe work environment. Available work hours are either 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd shift) or 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (3rd shift), allowing you to choose the schedule that works best for your lifestyle.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Sets-up and operates press according to production specifications and manufacturing standards.</li> <li>Responsible for quality and quantity of finished product and follows all job checking procedures.</li> <li>Properly records time and materials on each individual job, as well as recording daily information utilizing automated data collection system.</li> <li>Handles routine daily and monthly maintenance as required. Works closely with the manufacturing maintenance staff on the preventive maintenance program, as necessary.</li> <li>Works overtime as needed to meet production requirements. Able to work any of the three shifts as needed for production or training. </li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li>6+ months of manufacturing equipment operation experience, printing experience preferred</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED)</li> </ul> <p>Other Skills/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to perform adjustments and maintenance</li> <li>Able to follow written instructions</li> <li>Detail oriented with focus on quality</li> <li>Problem solving skills</li> <li>Must be proficient in the use of a PC</li> <li>Able to detect subtle differences between colors, and achieve a match</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Physical Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><p>Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing (industrial printing) environment and may involve exposure to noise hazards, high speed mechanical moving parts, chemical hazards, and hazards common to press operation and the printing industry.</p> <p> </p> <p>Work may involve repetitive operation of industrial equipment for extended periods of time. The work may also require frequent lifting of materials and equipment which have the potential of weighing up to a maximum of 50 lbs. Work Activities may also include the pushing/pulling of heavy materials, supplies or equipment. Equipment operation may also require frequent bending, grasping, and reaching.</p> <p> </p> <p>Press activities and printing equipment operation will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
