About this role
Freelance Senior Product Designer - Start date beginning of March We’re looking for a passionate, collaborative Senior Product Designer to temporarily join our two SaaS design teams and take a hands-on role in problem-solving and design execution. Treatwell’s SaaS teams focus on the business tools salons use to run their operations across our web and app platforms.
In this role, you’ll be actively designing across Treatwell’s end-to-end user journeys, contributing directly throughout the full design process - from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation. You’ll work day-to-day with the SaaS Design Lead, product managers, and engineers in an internationally distributed team, turning complex problems into clear, high-quality design solutions.
Above all, we’re looking for a proactive, organised self-starter who can hit the ground running from day one.
You will be responsible for:
Collaborating with other designers, user researchers, product managers, and engineers to plan, design, build and evolve our products.Influencing strategy for a product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem / opportunity statements.Advocating for the user and crafting UX solutions that meet critical business objectives.Working on a range of projects on different platforms.Helping facilitate idea generation with stakeholder.Designing with scalability in mind and actively contributing to our design system.Creating simple, intuitive experiences in a space with complex rules and workflows.Consistently creating clear and compelling materials and narratives explaining design rationale to team and stakeholders using customer, business or competitive insights.Actively seeking diverse feedback on your work and anticipating feedback to address it proactively.About you:
Detail-oriented and passionate about the craft5+ years as a Product or UX Designer (or equivalent experience) with robust case studies that showcase deep interaction and problem-solving skillsExperience creating and using design systemsExperience working in a scale-up environmentStrong communication (both written and verbal) skillsExcellent understanding of design principlesAn ego-free attitude that welcomes candid feedbackA willingness to fail and learn and to go beyond good enoughAbout Treatwell
