Conduct scheduled inspections, tests, and demonstrations, in accordance with the shipbuilder’s published schedule, including formal inspections, tests that may be scheduled outside of the main shipbuilding facility. </p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify"><u><b>Key Accountabilities:</b></u></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Conduct regular inspections and provide oversight of the shipbuilder's production of the vessel(s) under construction at the shipbuilding site. Specific focus to all cryogenic and cargo handling matters such as marine cryogenics systems, LNG / PG containment systems, LNG pumping and piping systems, LNG boil-off handling, reliquefication systems, LNG gauging and custody transfer, and other related items as assigned by the Site Team Manager.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Handle Cryogenic cargo matters including marine cryogenics systems, LNG / LPG containment systems, LNG pumping and piping systems, LNG / LPG boil-off handling, reliquefication systems, LNG gauging and custody transfer, and other related items as assigned by the Site Team Manager. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure that the ships fully meet the expectations of the shareholders and are in accordance with the Shipbuilding Contract Agreement, Specifications, approved plans, and the various memorandums of agreement.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Confirm that all equipment and systems are properly installed and commissioned.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Attend all properly scheduled inspections, commissioning(s), tests, demonstrations, and trials in accordance with the shipbuilder's published schedule for these items as assigned in his scope of work.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Coordinate site activities with other Inspectors as may be required.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure that all shareholder SHES policies are fully implemented and adhered to and acts to bring all areas of concern to the immediate attention of the Safety Coordinator and the Site Team Manager.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Bring all SHES issues or concerns to the immediate attention of the Safety Coordinator and the Site Team Manager. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Coordinate work to bring each vessel into service on schedule.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><u><b>Generic Accountabilities:</b></u></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><b>Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ):</b></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Adhere to all relevant SHEQ policies, procedures, instructions, and controls so that NAKILAT provides a safe, world class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><b>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:</b></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><b>Others:</b></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Carry out any other related duties as directed by Cryogenic Lead to support the shipbuilding initiatives and projects.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills</H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify"><u><b>Qualifications:</b></u></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, Marine Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><b><u>Experience:</u></b></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the construction of large bulk liquid vessels, of which at least two (2) years is of direct shipbuilding experience involved with the construction of LNG carriers or equivalent experience. </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Comprehensive knowledge of ship design and construction business.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><u><b>Job Specific Skills:</b></u></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Good written and spoken English language skills.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Excellent interpersonal skills, to be used when dealing with individuals of various levels of authority and of diverse cultural backgrounds.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Above average leadership and problem-solving skills when faced with complex ship construction issues.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proficient in the use of word processor and spreadsheet software (especially Microsoft Word and Excel), including the ability to prepare professional status reports.</li> </ul> </div></div></div>
