About this role
<p><strong>Job description:</strong><br>• Development of innovative servo drive controllers for stepper and servo motors in close cooperation with colleagues in an international project team;<br>• Development of power and control electronics: Mosfet/IGBT output stages, position sensors, acquisition of analog variables, microcontrollers and FPGAs, fieldbus and other communication systems;<br>• Specification and concept creation for the hardware;<br>• Circuit development, EMC-compliant design, supervision of the CAD board layout;<br>• Determination of development costs, preparation of the preliminary calculation for the series product;<br>• Creating test plans for the prototypes, carrying out functional and qualification tests, creating development documentation;<br>• Specifying the required tests and test equipment for series production, coordinating the product launch with internal or external suppliers;<br>• Continuous documentation of development in ALM tools, e.g. Codebeamer;<br>• Monitoring ongoing developments in the semiconductor market;<br>• If necessary, collaboration in hardware-related firmware programming.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br>• University Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification;<br>• Several years of professional experience in the field of power electronics and their control;<br>• Several years of experience in embedded hardware development and especially in the field of servo drive technology;<br>• Good E-CAD knowledge (circuit diagrams, layout, EMC), preferably with Cadence Allegro;<br>• Experience in embedded FW development, especially in hardware-related firmware (HAL) is an advantage;<br>• Responsible team player with the ambition to follow developments in the electronics industry and to expand the know-how of the group;<br>• Fluent in English; German language skills an advantage.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Personal Competencies and Requirements:</strong><br>• Capable of making fast decisions and taking the responsibility for the results in dynamic and changing environment;<br>• Oriented towards goals achieving and results;<br>• Focused on the added value for the internal and/or external clients;<br>• Team player, able to work in a multicultural working environment;<br>• Thinking out of the box, creativity and continuous improvement attitude;<br>• Flexible, adaptable, open to meet the change and acquire new knowledge and skills.</p><p> </p> <p>In case your professional qualification corresponds to the above requirements and you wish to join our growing team, please send us your CV and a cover letter.</p> <p>Reference code: 14655</p> <p>IPE Level: F4-I </p> <p>Country: Bulgaria (BG) </p> <p>City: Gabrovo </p> <p>Company: Festo Production EOOD </p> <p>Hiring Manager: Holger Schwind</p> <p>Department: PF-OCDDC - Development of Controllers, PF-OCDDC</p> <p>HR contact person: Aleksandar Antonov Angelov, +359(2)4631-352 </p>
