About this role
<p><strong>Your job:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop plugins and interfaces for integrating Festo End-of-Arm Tools into major robotic ecosystems (e.g. industrial robot APIs such as FANUC, ABB, UR)</li> <li>Advance GripperAI (model-free grasping in productive 24/7 use), including, CAD-based matching and Continuous physical learning</li> <li>Robust real-time perception with sensor-fusion</li> <li>Prototype and evaluate next-generation approaches (e.g., Vision-Language-Action models) for robotic manipulation</li> <li>Build and optimize the dataset and end-to-end ML training pipeline</li> <li>Ensure reliable deployment in industrial environments (latency, robustness, scalability)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your qualification:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Robotics, AI, Computer Science, or similar</li> <li>Hands-on experience in computer vision / robotic manipulation</li> <li>Proven experience in training AI Modules, building and optimizing end-to-end ML training pipelines</li> <li>Experience in robotics software development (ROS/ROS2 or comparable) is a plus</li> <li>Solid programming skills in Python and C++</li> <li>Basic frontend UI skills (e.g. Angular) are a plus</li> <li>Experience deploying systems in real-world or industrial environments is advantageous</li> <li>Experience with bin picking, grasp planning, or point cloud processing is preferred</li> <li>Exposure to industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, UR) is a plus</li> </ul>
