About this role
<p>Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.</p> <p><strong>You can look forward to these exciting tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Set up each tool prior to a scheduled run and ensure process parameters to meet required line performances (cycle time, availability and quality)</li> <li>Implement continuous improvement actions in close relation with production, maintenance, engineering, development, and quality departments</li> <li>Have efficient time management based on KPI follow up</li> <li>Participate in the development of the LEAN manufacturing program</li> <li>Take part in the development and implementation of new processes for future products</li> <li>Participate in operator skills development</li> <li>Reports directly to Process Managers<br> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Here's what you can bring to the team:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Completed at least 2 years of technical education</li> <li>Basic mechanical, electrical and robotic knowledge</li> <li>LEAN manufacturing knowledge is appreciated and considered a plus</li> <li>2 years of experience in an industrial environment; automotive industry experience is considered a plu</li> <li>Must have a troubleshooting and problem‑solving approach; problems should be seen as improvement opportunities</li> <li>Autonomy and a proactive mindset are mandatory</li> <li>Able to set up and maintain quality production standards</li> <li>Ability to perform mathematical calculations associated with process parameters</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Fluency in English or French; German is an advantage</li> </ul> </div><p>Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.</p> <p><b>Your contact person:</b><br> Brunhilde HÜBSCHEN, People & Organization Grevenmacher, LU </p> <p>Get to know us <a href="https://www.webasto.com/en-int/career.html">here</a> and find out why we are passionate about attracting talent to Webasto.<br> We look forward to receiving your online application!</p>
