A passion for finance and teamwork is at the forefront, offering excellent development opportunities.</p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>You can look forward to these exciting tasks:</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Act as a recognized subject-matter expert for VAT and other indirect taxes within the Group Tax function.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Independently assess and handle complex indirect tax issues, including cross-border supplies of goods and services, supply chain structures, and business transactions.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Provide ongoing advisory support to Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, and IT on indirect tax matters.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Ensure correct indirect tax treatment in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), including review of tax determination logic and master data.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Support and partly drive indirect tax compliance processes, including VAT returns, reconciliations, audits, and tax authority inquiries.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of group-wide tax policies, guidelines, and internal controls for indirect taxes.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Actively participate in business, restructuring, and transformation projects (e.g., new business models, system changes, ERP implementations) from an indirect tax perspective.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Coordinate and challenge external advisors and support local tax/finance teams on technical VAT questions.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Identify indirect tax risks and proactively propose pragmatic solutions to mitigate exposure.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>This is what you bring to us:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or a related business field.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">At least 3–5 years of professional experience in indirect taxes/VAT, preferably within a multinational group tax function or a reputable tax advisory firm.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Solid and practical knowledge of EU and international VAT law, including complex transactional and supply chain-related topics.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Good understanding of end-to-end business processes and their indirect tax implications.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) and indirect tax process design.</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Highly experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Fluent in English; German or additional languages are an advantage.</span></li> </ul><p>Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.</p> <p><b>Your contact person:</b><br> Rafael Rocha, People & Organization Lisboa, PT </p> <p>Get to know us <a href="https://www.webasto.com/en-int/career.html">here</a> and find out why we are passionate about attracting talent to Webasto.<br> We look forward to receiving your online application!</p>
