About this role
<p>Strategy is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of a comprehensive and future-proof corporate strategy. This role involves close collaboration with top management, acting as the primary sparring partner for long-term decisions. It encompasses activities that shape the future of Webasto and support informed decision-making, turning those decisions into actions and results.</p> <p><strong>You can look forward to these exciting tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independent execution and coordination of M&A projects throughout the entire transaction process, in particular:</li> <li>Drive due diligence processes, manage external advisors (investment banks, legal and other), and ensure timely and high-quality deliverables</li> <li>Prepare and present materials for senior management, Executive Committee and Board level discussions</li> <li>Collaboration in the structural and content development of the long-term group strategy within the strategy department, especially in the project management of strategic projects</li> <li>Work directly with the Vice President Corporate Strategy and the CEO office to drive portfolio optimization, assess strategic partnerships, and execute high-priority strategic initiatives</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>This is what you bring to us:</strong></p> <ul> <li>University master`s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business</li> <li>At least six years of professional experience in a top tier professional services environment, including a proven track record at senior project manager level</li> <li>Industry experience ideally gained in the industrial and/or automotive sectors </li> <li>Demonstrated accountability for multiple M&A transactions, ideally with exposure to cross border deals </li> <li>Clear evidence of responsibility for financial modeling and valuation, due diligence coordination, and end to end project management </li> <li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and external advisors </li> <li>Fluent in English and proficiency in at least one additional language such as Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French</li> </ul> <p> </p><p> Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.</p> <p><b>Your contact person:</b><br> Kristina Hog, People & Organization Stockdorf </p> <p>Get to know us <a href="https://www.webasto.com/en-int/career.html">here</a> and find out why we are passionate about attracting talent to Webasto.<br> We look forward to receiving your online application!</p>
