Position Overview<br>The Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) is responsible for providing component and system-level interconnect solution support and design expertise to key customers, including server, switch, and rack-level data center equipment manufacturers.<br>As the primary technical interface to customers, this role will deeply engage in the full product development lifecycle—from concept definition to production—driving successful project execution and supporting sustainable business growth.<br>________________________________________<br>II. Key Responsibilities<br>1. Customer Technical Support & Project Execution<br>• Serve as the primary technical interface to key OEM/ODM customers, supporting interconnect solution selection and application during the product design phase<br>• Engage throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution definition, sample introduction, and mass production support<br>• Lead and drive resolution of critical technical issues across design, validation, and manufacturing phases<br>________________________________________<br>2. Product Application & System Solution Design<br>• Provide component and system-level interconnect solutions for server, switch, and data center applications (including power, high-speed connectors, cables, and backplane solutions)<br>• Support component system-level performance optimization, including signal integrity and mechanical/structural considerations<br>________________________________________<br>3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Delivery<br>• Work closely with internal teams including Product Management, R&D, Quality, and Sales to translate customer requirements into effective product and solution offerings<br>• Coordinate with global resources to improve project responsiveness and delivery efficiency<br>________________________________________<br>4. Technical Promotion & Business Development<br>• Promote key products and solutions to customers, enhancing technical engagement and market influence<br>• Proactively identify new business opportunities and support sales in achieving revenue targets<br>________________________________________<br>5. Qualifications<br>1. Education<br>• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation, or related fields<br>________________________________________<br>2. Experience<br>• At least 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., connector product development, FAE, hardware design, SI engineering, etc.)<br>• Experience in servers, switches, data centers, or telecom equipment industries is preferred<br>• Experience supporting OEM/ODM customers is highly desirable<br>________________________________________<br>3. Technical Skills<br>• Familiar with interconnect technologies, including connectors, cable assemblies, and backplane systems (product development experience is a plus)<br>• Strong knowledge of high-speed signal design (PCIe, SerDes, Ethernet, etc.)<br>• Basic understanding of signal integrity (SI); simulation experience is a plus<br>• Good understanding of server and data center architectures (CPU, GPU, storage, networking)<br>________________________________________<br>4.
