This role serves as a key interface between product development and manufacturing, ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable electrical and automation solutions.</p> <ul> <li> Lead electrical and automation design during new product development, including feasibility evaluation, system architecture definition, custom equipment design, and support for pilot runs and process validation.</li> <li>Support mass production by developing and optimizing automation solutions, troubleshooting electrical/control systems, and improving efficiency, stability, and OEE during ramp-up and steady-state operations.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement by upgrading existing equipment, standardizing electrical designs, enhancing control performance, and supporting digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain electrical and control systems for automation equipment (PLC, HMI, servo systems, sensors, vision systems, etc.)</li> <li>Support NPI activities, including equipment development, debugging, and validation to meet production and quality requirements</li> <li>Act as the primary technical interface with automation vendors, ensuring clear and timely communication</li> <li>Collaborate with vendors to install, debug, and qualify automation equipment, ensuring project milestones are achieved</li> <li>Provide hands-on technical support during pilot runs, production startup, and changeovers</li> <li>Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation issues on production lines</li> <li>Guide and support technicians in equipment maintenance and line operations</li> <li>Develop and maintain equipment documentation, including work instructions and preventive maintenance (PM) procedures</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement in automation performance, quality, cycle time, and cost</li> <li>Support supplier qualification and equipment acceptance processes, equipment validation.</li> <li>Perform other tasks assigned by management</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field</li> <li>Minimum 6 years of experience in automation equipment design and manufacturing</li> <li> Fluent in English, communication skills and interpersonal skills, patient, communication and writing skills with a commitment to quality performance.</li> <li> Proficient in PLC programming (Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi or equivalent) and HMI development</li> <li> Strong knowledge of automation components: Vision systems (e.g., Keyence, Cognex), Sensors, pneumatics, servo motors, motion control systems</li> </ul> <ul> <li> Experience in medical devices or high-precision manufacturing is a plus</li> <li> Proven experience in custom (non-standard) automation equipment development (design + debugging)</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
