This senior-level position will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support new product introductions, and provide technical leadership across machining operations.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><p>Education & Experience:<br>• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field<br>• 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with focus on machining processes<br>• Proven experience with CNC machining operations (screw machine, milling, turning)<br>Technical Skills:<br>• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Mastercam, Esprit or similar)<br>• Strong knowledge of machining parameters, tooling selection, and fixture design<br>• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems<br>• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies<br>• Knowledge of GD&T, inspection methods, and metrology equipment<br>Core Competencies:<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br>• Excellent project management and organizational abilities<br>• Effective communication and leadership skills<br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities<br>Preferred Qualifications<br>• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification<br>• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies, both machining and metrology<br>• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES)<br>• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Process Development & Optimization:<br>• Design, develop, and optimize machining processes for complex components and assemblies<br>• Lead process validation activities and establish process control parameters<br>• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures<br>Technical Leadership:<br>• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and manufacturing teams<br>• Lead cross-functional teams for new product introduction (NPI) projects<br>• Collaborate with design engineering teams on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives<br>• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues<br>Manufacturing Support:<br>• Support production floor operations with technical expertise and troubleshooting<br>• Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects<br>• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and tooling<br>• Lead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards<br>Project Management:<br>• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with defined timelines and budgets<br>• Interface with suppliers and vendors for equipment procurement and process development<br>• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project status updates for management</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div>
