At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p>We are seeking an exceptional Test Planning Manager to lead the strategic planning, coordination, and forecasting of all testing activities across multiple product lines—focused on high-speed data connectors, power delivery products, and ATE-based validation systems for AI data center solutions.<br>This leader will create and manage a centralized test planning dashboard that links:<br> • All active and upcoming projects<br> • Detailed test plans, validation matrices, &amp; qualification requirements<br> • Industry and compliance standards<br> • Test equipment availability and readiness<br> • Sample quantities and material readiness<br> • Lab resource constraints<br> • Test capacity forecasting for Bangalore<br>This role requires a strong technical leader with exceptional organizational skills, cross-functional influence, and the ability to drive clarity and execution in a fast-paced engineering environment.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><p>• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or related).<br>• 20+ years in test engineering, validation planning, program management, or ATE system coordination.<br>• Proven experience building test execution plans, validation matrices, or qualification programs for complex hardware systems.<br>• Demonstrated success creating or managing dashboards, planning tools, databases, or capacity models.<br>• Strong leadership presence—able to influence across R&amp;D, Product, Operations, and Executive teams.<br>• Excellent communication, risk management, and stakeholder alignment skills.<br>• Expertise in data organization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau etc.).<br>• Knowledge of capacity modeling, resource algorithms, or predictive analytics.</p> <p>Nice to Have Qualifications<br>• Experience in AI data center hardware, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale interconnect systems.<br>• Familiarity with ATE development, lab management systems, or automated test frameworks.<br>• Exposure to PLM, MES, and ERP systems for test readiness tracking.<br>• Certification in PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies.<br>• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Strategic Test Planning &amp; Governance</strong><br>• Develop and own the global test planning framework for engineering, qualification, and manufacturing readiness.<br>• Establish standardized templates and processes for test plans, test matrices, and coverage tracking.<br>• Ensure alignment across R&amp;D, NPI, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.<br>• Review and approve all test strategies for new connector systems, high-power interconnects, and ATE-driven validation flows.<br>• Lead CAPEX, REVENUE Expenditure Management<br><strong>Test Dashboard &amp; Data Infrastructure </strong>- Architect and maintain a centralized test planning and scheduling dashboard integrating:<br>• Active project list and timelines. Detailed Test Plans, Industry standards and compliance requirements, Required test equipment and instrumentation mapping<br>• Sample quantities, BOM dependencies, Lab capacity, scheduling, and resource utilization<br>• Implement automated alerts, dependency tracking, and risk indicators to improve test readiness. Partner with IT or data teams to build backend data pipelines, analytics views, and capacity models.<br><strong>Test Equipment &amp; Resource Forecasting</strong><br>• Define and maintain a long-term test equipment roadmap based on: Product pipeline and complexity, High-speed and high-power test requirements, Equipment utilization, bottlenecks, and lifecycle<br>• Forecast additional lab space, ATE systems, personnel, and calibration needs.<br>• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast updates to leadership.<br><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong><br>• Partner with Test Engineering, Hardware, Software, Reliability, Operations, and PJM to ensure alignment of test readiness with program milestones. <br>• Drive early identification of risks (equipment constraints, sample shortages, schedule conflicts) and lead mitigation planning. <br>• Serve as the single source of truth for executive-level reporting on test capability and readiness.<br><strong>Leadership &amp; Process Excellence</strong><br>• Lead and mentor a small team of test planners, analysts, or coordinators. Drive continuous improvement in test planning processes, dashboards, and communication mechanisms.<br>• Champion a data-driven culture with emphasis on metrics, transparency, and accountability.
