<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About the position</b></H2> </div><div><ol> <li><strong>Main Objectives:</strong></li> </ol> <ul> <li><a name="_Hlk129682143"></a>Support the KA DCS India of Expertise with professional CAD / Design function and technical documentations.</li> <li>Passionate & accountable to support the design tasks of KA DCS.</li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt"> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ol> <li><strong>Role & Responsibilities</strong></li> </ol> <p> The main duties are, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for designing composite and brass / aluminium products using computer-aided design software applications like CATIA V5.</li> <li>Interact with Global Design Engineers to understand the design concepts and translate them into actual 3D Models / 2D drawings following the KA PLM and KBD process.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>In alignment with Project Managers, agree on the deliverables and strictly adhere to agreed time-lines for these activities/projects.</li> <li>Secure that the design meets the required requirements.</li> <li>Identify and escalate issues/deviations on time with adequate mitigation.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work according to KA processes and tools, support in continually improving these processes.</li> <li>Report working hours spent on different projects.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Prepare the Design change request as and when applicable.</li> </ul> <ol start="2"> <li><strong>Key Personal Tasks:</strong></li> </ol> <ul> <li><a name="_Hlk129683038"></a>Use KA processes (Design Process, KBD-NPI, PIP) in the daily work routine to ensure Design/CAD/Engineering tasks are fulfilled on time with correct level of documentation.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Working out proposals/concepts (3D Models & 2D drawings), through creation of component drawings and assemblies from concept to Serial-release.</li> <li><a name="_Hlk129683126"></a>Support design review as pr KA Design process and support in design related documents preparation (DFMEA, DFM/DFA, etc.)</li> <li>BOM creation and updates.</li> <li><a name="_Hlk129683174"></a>Tolerance stack-up study to achieve fit & finish, working through to full tolerance analysis to prove concept through various design phases</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Able to estimate time required to complete specific task.</li> <li>Maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Use SAP/PLM for creating, modifying and storing documents in the project</li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt"> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:18.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ol> <li><strong>Qualifications: </strong>Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering</li> </ol> <p> </p> <ol start="2"> <li><strong>Experience & Skills</strong></li> </ol> <ul type="disc"> <li><a name="_Hlk129683480"></a>Minimum 9~12 years of proven Design/CAD experience in Automotive Industry, especially in plastic / composite components and mechanical assemblies.</li> <li>Hands-on experience (at least 6 years) in designing automotive plastic parts and assemblies; using design standards & proficient in CATIA V5.</li> <li>Good knowledge of GD&T is mandatory.</li> <li>Prior experience of working in Global teams preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP/PLM & of manufacturing methods would be an additional benefit.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal English, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Power-point, Excel & Word.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel globally.</li> </ul> <ol start="3"> <li><a name="_Hlk129683924"></a><a name="_Hlk129683953"></a><strong>Personal Characteristics</strong><strong>:</strong></li> </ol> <ul type="disc"> <li><a name="_Hlk129683961"></a>Quick Learner, Curious and Self-motivated (ability to take initiative with little supervision)</li> <li>Hands-on, team player with the ability to perform successfully in a dynamic, demanding environment</li> <li>Innovative and creative mindset;
