Your Role: In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Perform operations to meet quality expectations throughout the manufacturing process.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Perform routine assays, processes and/or unit operations.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Contribute to support functions of the lab (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies, waste disposal).</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Provide complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines. Participate in quality audits.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ensure all applicable logbooks have been filled out completely.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience, and principles while in compliance with change control procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Assist with training.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Work in both a large-scale process environment and a glass lab environment.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Shift/Hours: 12-hour night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM - 2/2/3 schedule (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off, W/R on, F/S/S off, repeat).</li> </ul> Physical Attributes: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Wear appropriate PPE.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Lift up to 50 lbs. </li> </ul> Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline.</li> </ul> OR <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience in a chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong chemistry and math skills.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience with chemical production on the glassware scale.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience with laboratory instruments and production equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience in an independent chemistry research lab or industrial experience.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience with process techniques and unit operations.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience in analytical techniques and equipment. </li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience with safe chemical handling methods.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> </ul> RSREMD Pay Range for this position: $27/hr- $48/hr. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
