This position is responsible for loading railcars and trucks, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and operating procedures. Through attention to detail, equipment knowledge, and strong teamwork, the Meal Load‑Out Operator helps protect product integrity, maintain accurate records, and support reliable, safe operations within the Crush Department.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>Position Details: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">This is a full-time position and typically involves 10-hour shifts, which may include day and evening hours, and weekends. The current rotation requires working two out of every five weekends.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black"><strong>Work Schedules: </strong>There are two primary operating shifts and one maintenance shift:</span> <ul> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black"><strong>Operating Shifts: </strong>6:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM with a paid half-hour lunch</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black"><strong>Maintenance Shift:</strong> 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with a unpaid half-hour lunch</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Pay Rate: <span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">$28.51 </span>per hour </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black">Bunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>What You’ll Be Doing: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Load meal into railcars and trucks, ensuring product integrity and adherence to safety and quality standards.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Inspect railcars and trucks prior to loading, rejecting equipment that does not meet safety or quality requirements and completing required inspection documentation.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Monitor storage tank levels to prevent overflows and support accurate inventory tracking.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Collect and record representative product samples for laboratory analysis on each load.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Complete required documentation, including affidavits of loading and other shipping paperwork.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Operate and maintain dust collection systems, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Perform general operating and housekeeping duties in the meal area and the Crush Department.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Conduct minor equipment maintenance when time allows or when directed by supervision.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Use operating systems and tools, including GTM, SAP, and One Weigh, to support loading and documentation activities.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Maintain compliance with safety policies, GMPs, and Standard Operating Procedures, including those related to meal load‑out and rail yard operations.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Participate in ongoing training, keeping current with all in‑house and online training requirements.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Support team responsibilities, ensuring the meal room, storage, and loading areas remain safe, clean, and operational.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Perform other duties as required or requested by Crush Management.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>Skills/Experience Requirements: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Grade 12 education or equivalent.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Agricultural or industrial background is considered an asset.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Strong understanding of safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Good mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of equipment.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ability to operate computer systems with keyboard proficiency.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ability to work independently and take initiative without direct supervision.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Strong reliability and professionalism, including punctuality and shift coverage.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ability to lift consistently up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs).</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ability to work at heights and perform confined space entries.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Ability to climb ladders and work in industrial environments.</span></li> <li style="color:black"><span style="color:black">Reliable attendance, including remaining on shift until relieved by the next operator as scheduled.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black">Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site&apos;s food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:black">Bunge Canada is an equal opportunity employer committed to cultivating a diverse culture.
