Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair ready-mix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Perform removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Use diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Order required parts and maintaining parts inventory.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.</li> </ul> Job Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Valid 310T Truck & Coach license or a registered training agreement.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Valid class ‘G’ Driver’s License.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Sound working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps/motors, and air brake systems.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong interpersonal skills with a safety-first approach.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to travel to local sites as required.</li> </ul> This job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
