We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to join the infrastructure team for cloud operations and development at SAP. This team is building the current state of the art cloud platform for public cloud, sovereign cloud and private cloud scenarios. What you’ll do: <ul> <li>Suggest and drive improvements in how the team works. Collaborate with teammates to hone your ideas and build consensus.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a monitoring system that overlooks our build landscape. </li> <li>Learn about hyperscale environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and SAP Cloud data center and ensure products run reliably and optimally in these environments.</li> <li>Design, develop, and support various tools and applications related to CI/CD infrastructure, microservices, and cloud services. </li> <li>You and your code will be a vital part of the SAP Business Technology Platform.</li> </ul> What you bring: <ul> <li>Strong relevant work experience in software development, site reliability engineering, DevOps, quality assurance, or similar.</li> <li>Programming experience in an industry standard language such as Java, Go, Python, C/C++, or JavaScript.</li> <li>Proficiency in using AI in daily workflows to drive efficiency without sacrificing production system security and reliability</li> <li>Experience with cloud technologies such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Teraform, Kibana, Grafana, Open Search or Dynatace.</li> <li>Experience with Open Stack, AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.</li> <li>You are an excellent collaborator with good communication skills.</li> </ul> Fluency both written and spoken in English, German is beneficial. Tech you bring: <ul> <li>A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
