<p> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Your area of work:</span></strong><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif"><br>The PTIT Operations & Governance department is mainly responsible for the provisioning CPU, disk, SAN and IT Operating Systems to the Core IT Operations applications. </span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">The PaaS IaaS Unit team ensures the management of mainframe servers and supporting infrastructure including the z/OS and zVM operating systems as well (Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Asset Management, etc.). </span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Your responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Systems Administration activities include to implement, integrate and maintain hardware and software ensuring quality cost-effective services and to provide effective and efficient problem resolution in order to achieve the highest levels of availability, reliability and performance.</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">z/OS and 3rd party software installation and maintenance</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Analyse system problems and resolution</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Prepare and maintain documentation</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Implementation of security controls (z/os RACF)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Comply with audit and security requirements</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Operation includes on-call duty distributed among the team (an average of 1-2 shifts incl. on-call duty once per 5 weeks expected)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">SAN disk & tape management. Storage management.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Your profile:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through business experience)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Minimum 3 years of experience working with IBM zseries (mainframe) and/or relevant attached HW like SAN disks or tape library. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Mainframe skill background preferably on sysprog level (good knowledge in areas z/os, SMP/E, SMS, RACF, z/OSMF, ISV products) </span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Technical skills are essential to the position and will be validated through a technical interview.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Effective written and verbal communication</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Initiative</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">A team player</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Flexibility in work hours (24x7 means night and weekend installations and test operations)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Optionally linux or zlinux skills would be advantage.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p>
