The CTO area develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud), the Group Data &amp; Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture which significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy. The CTO area drives digital transformation and leverages innovation while keeping production operations stable are the core pillars of the shared services. </span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal"><span style="">Within the CTO Area, Cloud / Core Infrastructure department enables the usage of public cloud services from Microsoft and Google and provides core infrastructure services such as data center management and non-trading network operations.<br><br></span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><span style="">You will drive the transformation of modern technologies and infrastructure in a highly regulated capital markets environment; advance innovation and contribute to Deutsche Börse Group’s overall strategy</span><span style="">.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;background-color:white"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><strong><span style="">Your Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Lead the design and implementation </span></strong><span style="">of our end-to-end automation framework in Python, establishing best practices for creating testable, maintainable, and resilient code.<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Take ownership of the technical delivery </span></strong><span style="">of the integration strategy, guiding the team in building robust data flows between ITSM/CMDB, identity sources, and network platforms.<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Design and build </span></strong><span style="">complex, multi-step workflows that translate business requirements into precise, enforceable network security policies on platforms like VMware NSX, Guardicore, Illumio or ColorTokens.<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white"><strong><span style="">Act as the technical mentor for the development team</span></strong><span style="">, leading code reviews, unblocking technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement in our engineering practices.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;background-color:white"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;line-height:normal;background-color:white"><strong><span style="">Your Profile:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="line-height:normal"><span style="">At least 4-5 years of <strong>experience in integration engineering </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><span style="">At least 2 years as a Technical Leader </span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Software Design &amp; Development: </span></strong><span style="">Strong, proven experience designing and building scalable backend services and automation workflows in <strong>Python</strong>. </span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">API &amp; Systems Integration: </span></strong><span style="">Proven ability to design and deliver robust integrations with enterprise platforms (ServiceNow, CMDBs) using REST APIs and message queues.<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Technical Leadership: </span></strong><span style="">Proven ability to mentor other engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive projects to completion within an Agile/Scrum framework.<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Network Automation &amp; Security: </span></strong><span style="">Strong, practical knowledge of network Micro-Segmentation concepts (L3, ACLs) and hands-on experience automating platforms such as NSX, ACI, ColorTokens, Illumio, or Guardicore.<strong> </strong></span></li> <li style="line-height:normal"><strong><span style="">Cloud, Containers &amp; DevOps: </span></strong><span style="">Experience building and deploying containerized applications for cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), preferably with Kubernetes (K8s) or serverless technologies.
