They will also oversee improvement of equipment condition to improve the time between technical call-backs and reduce lift and Escalator equipment downtime. Works will also include minor repair work and the lifecycle replacement of components.</span></p> <div id="jobcontent" style="width:100%"> <div class="custom-tasks"> <h4 style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Your main responsibilities:</strong></h4> <div style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px"><ul> <li>Conducting routine servicing of lift/escalator equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components and in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, Expert+ etc)</li> <li>Rectifying and reducing faults on lift/escalator equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning</li> <li>Checking the lift/escalator function as part of maintenance, checks to include, speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise, temperature, and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment</li> <li>Conducting the routine inspection and adjustment of lift/escalator in accordance with approved procedures</li> <li>Reinstating lift/escalator and complete service documentation</li> <li>Conducting more advanced fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals, and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service.</li> <li>Competence is required to make effective use of written or graphical information</li> <li>Conducting site surveys and attend all relevant training sessions to keep up to date on technical knowledge and skills</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="custom-requirements"> <h4 style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>What you bring:</strong></h4> <div style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px"><ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience in Lift/Escalator Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator maintenance or equivalent</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Advanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including multi-brand equipment</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The ability to work independently with a flexible approach</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Effective communication skills at various levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors)</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manual dexterity - Requires the use of hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting;
