Pay Range: $62,880 to $78,600 YOUR ROLE Coordinate and supervise all activities on the outbound dock and ensures operations are coordinated efficiently. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices and instructions from customers.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Assess priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Assign duties appropriate to warehouse staff.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Review pending jobs or trends, plan for reorganization of warehouse space, and needed changes in levels of supplies, equipment or staffing needs.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Train new staff in assigned duties, and quality management activities or delegates training responsibilities to experienced specialist.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Assign selective supervisory tasks as needed to experienced specialists acting as leads for lower level warehouse staff.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Monitor quality and quantity of jobs performed throughout the day, providing advice and guidance as necessary.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Keep abreast of progress on problems.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Keep manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention on a daily basis.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess group’s overall status.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Promote positive relationship with clients by providing excellent customer service.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Provide responsible supervision and control for all department activities.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within the department and address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the company.</li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
