WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm schedule working in a Cardiology Service line

• In-Person position
• Work with physicians, nurses, and patients to answer questions about medications, health education, and medical advice within your scope of practice
• Help patients schedule appropriate appointments
• Maintain accurate records of all patient and physician communications
• Retrieve and respond to phone messages promptly based on medical priority
• Document all incoming calls following department procedures
• Follow up on patient requests in a timely manner
• Submit new prescriptions and refills electronically or by fax as ordered by the physician
• Serve as a resource for clinic staff on medical information, patient assessment, and nursing care
• Scan documents as needed
• Obtain pre‑certifications and prior authorizations
• Provide test results to patients
QUALIFICATIONS
• Required Associate's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• 1 year Nursing/Patient Care in acute care or ambulatory settings Preferred
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
