Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of analyses, both routine and non-routine, primarily in molecular biology, cell biology, and virology test areas of Biopharmaceutical ServicesConduct day-to-day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes, including protocols, standard operating procedures, and methodsReview and evaluate raw data for acceptability, ensuring accuracy and reliability of resultsSet up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the departmentLearn and apply molecular biology technology to support ongoing research and development effortsDesign and execute experiments to investigate cellular and molecular mechanismsMaintain detailed laboratory notebooks and electronic records of all experimental procedures and resultsAnalyze and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and software toolsPrepare technical reports, summaries, and presentations of research findingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelinesTroubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols to improve efficiency and reproducibilityMaintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performanceAdhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines in the laboratory environmentContribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practicesParticipate in regular team meetings and scientific discussions to share knowledge and stay updated on project progress The ideal candidate would possess:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related
degree concentration and a minimum of 5 years of laboratory
experience, masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of laboratory
experience or a Ph.D. with no laboratory experience
Position is full-time, working 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
