This remote role is essential to supporting purchasing activities and helping manage relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless acquisition of cycling products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in the cycling sector, showcasing a keen ability to navigate purchasing processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing cycling components and products from various suppliers. Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and pricing trends. Prepare purchase orders and track order status with suppliers. Assist in negotiations to achieve favorable purchase terms. Maintain and update purchasing records and inventory levels in the system. Collaborate with the supply chain team to streamline purchasing operations. Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the cycling industry
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with suppliers
• Familiarity with the cycling market and product knowledge is a plus
