About this role
Lemonade is looking for a seasoned leader to scale our embedded insurance distribution in the UK market. As our Director of BD and Strategic Partnerships, you will own the end-to-end growth of our strategic partnership channel, driving revenue across our Renters and Homeowners product lines. You’ll collaborate directly with our global and European leadership team to turn Lemonade into the UK’s go-to insurance partner.

In this role you’llHunt and close high-impact strategic partnerships and embedded growth channels (Retail, Fintech, Proptech, and Employer Benefits).
Partner with the Head of Partnerships and European leadership to define our GTM strategy and build competitive differentiators that make Lemonade the partner of choice.
Support the target setting process and deliver revenue targets for the UK partnership channel.
Foster C-suite relationships with major partners and represent Lemonade in the market, and at key industry events.
Define, track, and optimize KPIs to ensure every partnership is data-backed and ROI-positive.
Serve as a key member of the UK Branch Management Committee and work closely with the UK branch manager representing the business at the highest level.
What you’ll need7+ years extensive experience in BD, strategic partnerships, and GTM—ideally in a high-growth consumer technology company. Insurance of Fintech experience is a must have.
A quantifiable track record of sourcing and negotiating complex, profitable deals within the UK insurance ecosystem.
Deep knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and an existing network of high-level contacts.
The ability to move fast and coordinate with Legal, Product, Tech, and Marketing teams to launch and scale initiatives.
Strong financial literacy; you can build a business case and understand the long-term ROI of a deal at a glance.
