About this role
PPS-2 (Equivalent) • Assist in the design, development, and testing of hardware solutions for quantum communication systems. • Develop and debug firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers. • Work on hardware-software integration for quantum key distribution (QKD) and cryptographic devices. • Perform simulations and testing of hardware systems to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative hardware-based solutions. • Document technical specifications, progress reports, and system designs. Qualification: • BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (completed within the last 12 months). • Proficiency in programming microcontrollers and embedded systems (e.g., Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi). • Experience with hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) is an advantage. • Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and PCB design tools such as Altium or KiCad. • Familiarity with hardware testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers). • Strong analytical and debugging skills. • Knowledge of quantum communication or cryptographic hardware is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
