About this role
Will work as main work force in the assigned projects in specific domains of Quantum Technologies. Demonstrable knowledge or practical experience of relevant tools and/or software/hardware. Very Good programming skills in a high/low level language preferably C/C++. Responsible for relevant, thorough, precise and comprehensive project documentation. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality for the project in the lab. Qualification: MPhil/MS (18 years of education) in a relevant discipline of Mathematics or Physics or Electronics or System Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Engineering or Cyber Security or Information Security such as Quantum Communication, Quantum Computing, Quantum Mechanics, Photonics, Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Random Number Generation, etc. and minimum of seven years’ experience of R&D of which minimum of three years (preferably) in quantum technologies at any national or international department, institute, organization or agency. Domicile Quota: anywhere from Pakistan Location of Job: Islamabad Other Details: 4+ years’ experience of working/R&D on national/international level public/private sector communication/information security projects. 3+ years’ experience (preferably) of Quantum Technologies R&D and/or deployment projects. Preferably, at least one publication in relevant domains of Quantum Technologies such as Quantum Communication, Quantum Computing, Quantum Cryptography, Photonics, Quantum Networks, Quantum Random Number Generation, etc. Knowledgeable of all relevant standards and publications pertaining to the relevant domains of quantum technologies (e.g. FIPS140-x, Common Criteria, NIST Publications, etc.) found on the lab’s scope. Cryptography, Photonics, Quantum Networks, Quantum Random Number Generation. Linux/Unix working knowledge. Good programming skills in a high/low level language preferably C/C++. Must possess demonstrable experience/practical knowledge in at least one of the following domains: Quantum Communication, Quantum Computing, Quantum Cryptography.
