About this role
- Minimum 08 years of experience in case of Ph.D. or 12 years with Masters / M.Phil degree. 1. Develop a team of experts to work as SPPC's core staff. 2. Use National and International networks to create a Council of Experts to provide intellectual inputs to SPPC as required. 3. Oversee, solicit and / or contact strategic research and prospective analysis on issues relevant to the NSC. 4. Prepare policy notes based on the research and analysis and suggest ways to implement the recommendation. 5. Respond to any demands for inputs on the key issues from the ONSA. 6. Revive any national policy / strategy documents as tasked by the ONSA. 7. Support the ONSA and NSD in liaising with others Ministries / Agencies to coordinate research and analysis and provide them intellectual support. 8. Convene polic dialogues to receive inputs from independent analysts and experts on issues that fall within the SPPC's mandate. 9. Serve on Government Committees / tasks forces as and when pointed by the ONSA. 10. Participate in national and international policy dialogues held under official / non official auspices as and when assigned by the ONSA. 11. Responsible for leadership and management of the SPPC. - Ph.D. or Masters/MPhil Degree with minimum 18 years of education from Higher Education Commission’s recognized University in International Relations, International Affairs, Security Studies or related field.
