About this role
Minimum 03 years of experience in case of Ph.D or 05 years with Masters/M.Phil degree. 1. The incumbent will conduct original research and prepare policy notes for relevant stakeholders on traditional security issues and cross cutting issues. 2. The incumbent will be required to monitor international security dialogue forums and draw appropriate lessons for relevant stakeholders. 3. The incumbent will represent SPPC at relevant national and international forums and participate in policy conversations. 4. The incumbent will prepare follow up notes on the important meetings of SPPC on traditional security issues. 5. The incumbent should be able to organize background briefings on key National Security Issues for relevant stakeholders. 6. The incumbent will coordinate with think tanks, universities and independent experts to generate focused input on key national security issues. 7. The incumbent will assist in commissioned research projects on traditional security issues. 8. The incumbent will assist the SPPC global outreach efforts to establish linkages with international experts. 9. The incumbent will track news feeds and social media on traditional security issues and keep SPPC staff updated. 10. The incumbent should have a strong demonstrated background in managing large international security conferences, seminars and workshops. 11. The incumbent should have a demonstrated background in developing narratives, data analysis and strategic communications. 12. The incumbent will assist in preparation of presentations at seminars and other intellectual forums nationally or internationally. 13. The incumbent will act as final copy editor of SPPC output on traditional security issues. 14. The incumbent will deal with establishment matters in coordination with SPPC Admin Officer. 15. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. 16. Ability to work in a high-pressure, sensitive environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. 17. Any other task assigned by the Minister in-charge/Secretary National Security Division and Senior Policy Specialist.. Ph.D or Masters/MPhil Degree with minimum 18 years of education from Higher Education Commission recognized University in international relations/affairs, defence and strategic studies.
