About this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost & Value Engineer to drive measurable cost reduction and value creation across our hardware portfolio. In this strategic role, you will influence key design, sourcing, and industrialization decisions, ensuring optimal product value without compromising performance, quality, or compliance.
Working cross-functionally with R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality, you will play a critical role in embedding cost efficiency early in the product lifecycle and delivering sustainable business impact.
What You Will Do
Lead cost and value engineering initiatives across new product development and existing portfolioAnalyze and optimize cost drivers across system, subsystem, and component levels (BOM, design, sourcing, manufacturing)Influence hardware design decisions through active participation in design reviews and trade-off analysesDrive cost reduction through design improvements while maintaining performance, quality, and complianceCollaborate with suppliers and supply chain teams to identify cost-effective sourcing strategiesSupport manufacturability and industrialization by applying DFM/DFA principlesDevelop business cases, track savings, and ensure transparent reporting of cost improvementsContribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and lifecycle cost optimization What We Are Looking For
Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience5-10 years of experience in hardware development, cost engineering, value engineering, or industrializationStrong knowledge of BOM structures, cost modeling, and target costing methodologiesProven ability to influence design decisions and work effectively in cross-functional teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and structured approach to workExperience with regulated or safety-critical products is a plus Benefits
