Key Responsibilities
Prepare project plans and drive projects from conception through implementationParticipate in developing strategies, processes, and resource planningLead implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the 6S Program across Santa Clara Lab OperationsEnsure alignment with corporate standards and site-specific operational needsManage project schedules and task details using tracking tools (reports, checklists, scheduling software)Conduct site-wide 6S audits; develop corrective action plans and ensure timely closureCoordinate resources across the division to meet on-time and within-budget objectivesInitiate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase ordersCollaborate cross-functionally (Manufacturing, Logistics, Facilities, EHS, Quality) to embed 6S into operationsDrive cost and schedule performance for equipment supporting internal and external customers globallyParticipate in cross-functional design teams and provide technical input to achieve project goalsChampion visual management, standard work, labeling, and workplace organization to improve safety and efficiencyInterface across teams to define objectives, provide status updates, and support release/deployment readinessProvide engineering and business process expertise on standard programs and initiativesIdentify project risks/issues and develop solutions to resolve themOwn and manage 6S tools and systems (e.g., PowerApps, SharePoint trackers, dashboards)Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshopsPartner with leadership to reinforce 6S behaviors, coaching, and performance alignment Functional Knowledge
Demonstrates depth of expertise in specialized disciplineApplies 6S methodology to improve workplace organization, safety, and workflow in manufacturing/lab environmentsUtilizes knowledge of 6S audits, certification standards, and sustainment systems Business Expertise
Evaluates business challenges and recommends process improvementsApplies 6S principles to identify operational gaps and implement best practicesUses audit data and trend analysis to drive efficiency and reduce waste Leadership
Leads teams or projects of moderate complexityDrives cross-functional 6S initiatives including audits and certification readinessCoaches stakeholders on 6S standards and adoption of visual management and standard work Problem Solving
Solves complex problems using analytical thinking and structured methodologiesApplies 6S tools (e.g., root cause analysis, waste identification, flow mapping)Implements corrective actions and sustainable process improvements Impact

Lean / 6S certification or formal training requiredLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt strongly preferredPMP or project management certification is a plus Education

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
