Job Description:

Leads the development/design/delivery of effective talent acquisition and diversity strategies, plans and programs for a portfolio and acts as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talentManage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition programDevelop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talentAdvise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunitiesExecute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approachFocus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to TD's customer experience modelMaintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitmentCultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approachesMaintain, analyze and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities; consult with hiring managersPromote TD brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and industry networksLead advertising and brand activities to attract talent, utilizing internet / intranet / social media and other recruiting tools as appropriateRepresent TD in various recruitment functions as neededGenerally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers SHAREHOLDER

Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivityAdhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition functionFollow and recommend internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the organization or candidatesMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the BankMay lead special initiatives by representing TD/ the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expertMonitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertiseEnsure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with HR prioritiesConduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audienceKeep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impactsEnsure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues EMPLOYEE / TEAM
