Job summary
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Treatment Room Nurse to join our friendly and supportive practice team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in primary care or community nursing who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient-centred care. As a valued member of our busy GP practice, you will provide high-quality nursing care, deliver a wide range of treatment room services, and play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing within our local community.

You'll be joining a well-established practice comprising 6 GP Partners and 5 Salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. With a list size of approximately 12,700 patients and a diverse patient population, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference within a vibrant and growing community.

Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Desirable
Qualified in Child & Adult Immunisation Cervical screening Chronic disease management Wound care management
Experience Essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Competent in treatment room procedures Knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding principles Maintaining accurate patient records using clinical systems Infection prevention and control activities Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team
Desirable
Previous experience in general practice or primary care Cervical cytology qualification Adult and Child Immunisation and vaccination training Experience using GP clinical systems
