An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Park Green Surgery in the heart of Macclesfield. As our patient population continues to grow, we are looking to welcome an additional Salaried GP to our friendly and highly supportive team.
You'll be joining a well-established practice comprising 6 GP Partners and 5 Salaried GPs, all committed to delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining the values of traditional family medicine. With a list size of approximately 12,700 patients and a diverse patient population, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference within a vibrant and growing community.
Working together for better patient care
Park Green Surgery is part of the Macclesfield Primary Care Network (PCN), working alongside five neighbouring practices within the same modern, purpose-built medical centre. This collaborative approach allows us to share resources, increase capacity and create a positive working environment that benefits both staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
The role
We are a well-run, highly regarded GMS training practice and have successfully operated a Total Triage model since 2023.
We are seeking a Salaried GP for 6 sessions per week, working pattern to include both a Monday and Friday. We're looking for a team player who is enthusiastic about contributing to the continued development and success of the practice.
Our clinical services include:
Minor surgery Contraception services Extended hours provision The role includes participation in a fair and supportive rota covering early, late and duty/triage sessions. We are committed to promoting a healthy work-life balance and work hard to ensure workloads remain manageable and sustainable for all clinicians.
Teaching and training
As an established teaching and training practice, we are actively involved in the education of medical students, Foundation Doctors and GP Registrars. We foster a culture of shared learning, mentorship and continuous professional development.
