Job summary
The Admin Team Leader is a pivotal role within the North Community Mental Health Teams, supporting services across Kettering/Corby and Wellingborough/East Northants.
Each Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) is supported by two Team Administrators. The Admin Team Leader is responsible for providing effective leadership, guidance, and day-to-day support to the administrative staff, ensuring high standards of performance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, supervision, and professional support to administrative staff across both CMHTs Oversee workload distribution to ensure tasks are allocated appropriately and completed within agreed timeframes Undertake complex administrative duties as required to support service delivery Train, mentor, and support both existing administrative staff and new starters Work collaboratively with Operational Managers to ensure efficient service coordination Proactively identify priorities, manage competing demands, and make informed decisions regarding workload Develop and implement cross-cover arrangements to maintain consistent administrative support across all teams Key Skills and Attributes:

Main duties of the job
The core functions of this role include:
Leadership and Coordination
Co-ordinate the work of Team Administrators across the service, ensuring efficiency and consistency Provide professional supervision, guidance, and day-to-day support to administrative staff Line manage and supervise Team Receptionists, ensuring high standards of performance and service delivery
Operational Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Operational Managers Oversee the prioritisation and co-ordination of additional and ad hoc administrative tasks Ensure workloads are managed effectively and deadlines are consistently met
Staff Development
Ensure Team Administrators are fully competent in their roles Identify training needs and support ongoing staff development and career progression Support the induction and training of new administrative staff
Specialist Administrative Expertise
The Admin Team Leader will act as the subject matter expert and provide leadership in the following areas:
HealthRoster (e-rostering system) Performance reporting and data monitoring HR processes and documentation SystmOne management, including waitlists, letters, and task management Employee Self Service (ESR) Procurement processes
