Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our progressive and supportive general practice in the heart of the Five Valleys for 4-6 sessions per week.
The practice boasts purpose built large consulting rooms and excellent facilities for staff, including a dedicated minor surgery and womens health room. Situated in the bustling Five Valleys shopping complex, the practice also offers easy access to daily amenities, including an exceptional food hall.
Youll be working alongside four partners and six salaried GPs, providing care for our diverse population. Our GPs collaborate closely with our excellent nursing team, including respiratory and diabetes nurses. We also benefit from the support of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners and have an exceptional care navigation team and pharmacy teams.
We have a diverse skill mix including dermatology, minor operations, LARC, womens health, paediatrics, lifestyle medicine and joint injections.
As a GP training practice and teaching academy for Bristol University Medical School, there are numerous opportunities for teaching and educational pursuits. Additionally, the practice looks after three care homes.
Our clinical systems include SystemOne with Ardens, Anima triaging and AccuRx.

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the contract.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications Essential
Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training CCT Full GMC registration National Performers List registration England, noting that confirmation on this list is adequate for DBS confirmation Primary Medical Services Performers Lists Scotland All Wales Medical Performers List and All Wales Locum Register Wales Northern Ireland Primary Medical Performers List PMPL Northern Ireland Appropriate defence indemnity MPS/MDU Evidence of current validation Evidence of last appraisal Eligibility to practice in the UK independently Experience Experience of working in a primary care environment Experience of continued professional development Experience of QOF and clinical audit Minimum of two years as a salaried GP
