Role Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assembliesWork with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new productsUse basic engineering and design for excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing and/or product costs, and to improve product qualityDetermine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirementsDevelop and use test procedures, evaluate test results, and evaluate work methods, procedures, and policiesAssist in determining the root causes and corrective actions for issues that arise during assembly or system testing Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of semiconductor experience or other industry experienceGeneral knowledge of semiconductor industry developed through education or experience Physical Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
