About this role
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, we're looking for a senior backend software developer with expertise in designing and maintaining scalable .NET applications.
You'll have opportunity to:
Lead design and architecture discussions for complex backend systemsMentor junior and mid-level developers, promoting best practices in coding and testingManage critical components of the application lifecycle, from design through deploymentEvaluate and introduce new technologies to improve scalability, maintainability, and performanceCollaborate with product owners and partners to influence technical direction and ensure agreement on team goals Expert-level proficiency in .NET Core 8.0, C# 12+, and ASP.NETExperience with microservice architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven designDesign and implement secure APIs and enforce best practices for authentication and authorizationExperience profiling and optimizing large-scale applications (millions of transactions daily)Familiarity with DRY, SOLID, and clean architecture principlesExperienced with unit testing frameworks like XUnit and MoqFamiliar with API testing tools like Postman or InsomniaFamiliar with MongoDB or other NoSQL database systemsFamiliar with observability tools such as Dynatrace and CloudWatchComfortable with Git for version controlComfortable working in both Windows (PowerShell) and Linux (bash scripting) environmentsHands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, and EKS)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes)Knowledge of data exchange standards (X12, HL7) and ability to design data pipelinesExperience with gRPC or other RPC frameworksExperience with static code analysis tools (SonarCloud)Familiar with modern CICD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Octopus)Familiar with Windows UI frameworks like Winforms or WPF Benefits/Perks:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
