We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to join our global shared service Payroll team. In this role, you will manage payroll processes, handle accounting-related tasks, and support month-end closures. #LI-DNI#top-vacancies-10-BY-mar-25#LI-ТМ2 Responsibilities Manage payroll processes for specific EPAM subsidiaries, including information preparation, coordination with HR and external agencies, and verification of calculated payrolls Perform US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities for assigned subsidiaries Conduct payroll analysis and reconciliation across all internal systems Investigate complex payroll cases to ensure accuracy and compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll-related issues Respond to and manage audit requests, participating in regular meetings with internal and external auditors Address local payroll audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Contribute to the regular improvement of payroll processes, analyzing areas for optimization and participating in the testing of new updates Prepare SOX control files for review and record-keeping Generate ad-hoc reports as requested to support business needs Requirements High economic education in Finance or Accounting Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a Senior Payroll Accountant or similar roles, such as Senior Payroll Specialist or Auditor with payroll focus Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong capabilities in data management and analysis Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage English language skills at an intermediate level (B1+) or higher, both verbal and written High personal responsibility with exceptional attention to detail Understanding of cross-departmental workflows, with the ability to process and control diverse information sources Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Resilience and stress tolerance with a willingness to work overtime as needed Team-oriented mindset with a loyal, results-driven approach We offer We connect like-minded people:: Delivering innovative solutions to industry leaders, making a global impact Enjoyable working environment, whether it's the vibrant office or the comfort of your own home Opportunity to work abroad for up to two months per year We invest in your growth:: Leadership development, career advising, soft skills and well-being programs Unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning, Get Abstract and O'Reilly Free English classes with certified teachers We cover it all:: Comprehensive medical & family care package Seven trust days per year (sick leave without a medical certificate) Discounts from 800+ partners (sports activities, restaurants, stores and services) EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
