We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Male Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a young individual living with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy in Hailsham.

This is much more than a care role. You'll help someone build confidence, enjoy new experiences, maintain their independence, and take part in activities they love. Every day is different, whether you're supporting a trip out in the community, attending appointments, enjoying outdoor activities, or helping to maintain a positive daily routine.

Available Roles

Day Support Worker

29 hours per week on average - Working a rolling 4-week rota of 30.75 hours per week for three weeks, followed by 23.5 hours in the fourth week.

Β£14.15 per hour

Night Support Worker (Saturdays Only)

10.25 hours per week

Β£13.85 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

As a valued member of our support team, you'll provide person-centred support tailored to the individual's needs and interests.

Responsibilities include:

β€’ Supporting daily routines and promoting independence

β€’ Accompanying and driving to appointments and community activities

β€’ Encouraging participation in hobbies and social opportunities

β€’ Providing emotional reassurance and positive encouragement

β€’ Supporting with personal care where required

β€’ Maintaining a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment

Activities You Could Be Supporting

The individual enjoys:

Essential Requirements:

βœ” Full UK driving licence βœ” Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs βœ” Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Due to the specific needs of the person we support, this post is open to male applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
