About the RoleWe're seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant to join our home services business. This is a dual-role position where you'll split your time between bookkeeping responsibilities and general administrative support. You'll play a key role in maintaining our financial health while keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Primary ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping (50% of role)
Manage accounts receivable, including invoice tracking and payment follow-upsMake 30–50 outbound calls per week (approximately one day) to customers with past-due invoicesHandle payment reminders and address basic invoice questions with professionalismMaintain accurate financial records in QuickBooksProcess payments and reconcile accountsGenerate financial reports and statements as neededAdministrative Support (50% of role)
Provide general administrative assistance to support daily business operationsMaintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)Handle data entry and spreadsheet managementCoordinate communications between team members and customersSupport additional operational tasks as neededRequirements
ReMust-Have Qualifications:
1–2 years of bookkeeping experienceProficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable making customer-facing phone callsSolid understanding of basic accounting fundamentalsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environmentPreferred Qualifications:
