Account specific roles and responsibilities:
Enter and review financial transactions in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently Understand and apply the differences between balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly Perform regular reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other general ledger accounts Analyze balance sheet accounts to understand how balances are created and identify when balances appear incorrect or unreasonable Investigate discrepancies by determining the source and cause of differences Research long-outstanding or uncleared transactions and determine appropriate next steps for resolution Identify potential accounting issues, including duplicate, missing, or mis posted transactions Utilize available tools such as QuickBooks reports, registers, audit trails, and prior-period data to research posting questions independently before escalating Propose and implement practical, time-efficient solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies Communicate findings, questions, and resolutions clearly and professionally with team membersRequirements
With a bachelor’s degree in accountancy2 - 3 years of accounting work experience (Bookkeeping/Payroll)Good working knowledge regarding balance sheets, how it is built and maintainedWith QuickBooks experienceExcellent verbal and written English skillsWilling to work onsite in MAKATI or MANDALUYONGAmenable working night shiftsBenefits
