About this role
Core Responsibilities:
• Performs direct illness/injury assessment and management, preparation for transport, transfer of information, and patient care
• Attends emergency medical requests as they arise, and renders assistance to ill or injured internal/external guests
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
• Continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards
• Inspects emergency medical equipment to ensure serviceability and compliance with safety and infection control regulations and standards
• Completes and transfers patient care information and records per established procedures
• Completes all paperwork and reports and required by all State and Federal regulations.
• Patrols buildings and grounds of facility on foot and/or in security vehicle; examines doors, windows and gates to determine that they are secure; controls the various entry/exit locations throughout controlled areas as assigned.

• Staffs' areas to assure compliance with state laws and facility regulations
• Directs visitors and vendors to appropriate locations
• Warns violators of rule infractions and apprehends or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Observes and reports procedural violations and illegal activity
• Role model company guest service program
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Current EMT certification
• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License
• Must be able to obtain NYS Security Guard License

• Able to lift and carry excessive weight
• Must be able to maintain current EMT certification

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum computer skills, including e-mail, word, excel spreadsheets, data input and record keeping
