Job Description: An Assistant Food and Beverage Manager works under the Food and Beverage Manager in the hotel and casino. Their main function is to keep a check that all the requirements of the customers are met. In the absence of the F&B Manager, the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager takes charge of the restaurant, bars and kitchen staff, assigns them their duties and make sure that the work takes place in an orderly manner. They have to ensure that the customers are receiving excellent services for food and beverages. An Assistant Food and Beverage Manager has to be good in communication and consumer satisfaction skills. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager has to make the profit account depending upon the profits accrued through the sale of food and drinks.
