About this role
The DevOps SRE provides technical leadership for the reliability and performance of SPP’s production systems and user-facing services. This role sets direction for automation, observability, incident response practices, and reliability engineering standards. The Lead SRE designs and oversees implementation of system-wide reliability improvements, mentors and guides SRE team members, and collaborates across development, infrastructure, and leadership groups to drive long-term operational strategy. Serves as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex system and reliability challenges.
