About this role
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Dental Laboratory Technician prepares dental models, utilizing both traditional materials like gypsum and modern digital tools. Dental Laboratory Technicians are responsible for fabricating and repairing a wide range of dental prostheses and appliances from prescriptions and work orders in collaboration with dentists. Development of skills to support workflows using CAD/CAM software, 3D printers, and milling machines are required. Dental Laboratory Technicians are responsible for the aesthetic and quality control aspects, applying stains and glazes to ensure the final product has a natural appearance and a perfect fit.
