Paul Miller Ford is looking for a talented, dedicated Diesel service technician to join our team of passionate Ford experts. Our service technicians are a key element of our company, keeping our customers’ vehicles running smoothly and helping them continue to drive happy every day.
Job Responsibilities
• Examine customer vehicles
• Identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Accurately estimate the cost of repairs
• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Document services performed
• Perform services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Request any necessary parts
• Maintain CSI at or above company standards
• Maintain an organized, clean, safe work area
• Participate in required training
• Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
