About this role
The Engineering Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing tests on electro-mechanical devices and small plastic products used with ultrasound probes. This role involves managing test samples, maintaining the lab, calibrating equipment, developing test fixtures, creating testing protocols, and executing tests to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. The Technician must also understand and maintain proper biohazard, electrical, and mechanical safety procedures. The role will be hands-on, working with a variety of products and a team of experienced Engineers. This role offers a growth path into increased ownership of lab operations and, over time, leadership responsibility for lab personnel, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
