About this role
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment used to provide heating, air conditioning, and hot water for the property, and is responsible for maintenance of all other building functions, including safety standards and procedures, general upkeep and repairs, general appearance of the building and grounds, and refurbishment of units that turn over. The Maintenance Director’s role is a hands-on position, involving timely and courteous service to residents and staff.
